These violent acts slow down or even stop humanitarian programmes. Consequently people in need are deprived of support due to this violence.   CSD is a non-profit foundation specialised in safety and security for humanitarian organisations worldwide. We believe that sharing security knowledge and skills enables other humanitarian organisations to work in unsafe areas in order to reduce human suffering and bring about a better world.

The world is increasingly faced with poverty and injustice. To stop this trend, humanitarian actors are bringing relief and development.

Often these humanitarian programmes are in unsafe areas. In these areas humanitarian actors are more and more often confronted with violence against their organisation, staff, assets and partners.
