CSD has developed a quick security scan, in order to review your organisational security. It is now available under 'resources'.

The CSD matrix is a short and comprehensive security quick scan. By answering ten questions, you obtain an overview of your organisational security situation.

The scan assesses technical topics such as policies and plans, but also more behavioural topics such as attitude and responsibility.

At the end of the questionnaire your results are reproduced in a “spider web diagram”. Using this diagram, you gain insight in your organisational strong points, and the areas where improvement is required. The diagram has five levels: Poor, Fragile, Basic, Advanced and Professional.

Please note that not all topics have to be at a professional level. This depends on your mandate, the areas you are operating in and the risk you have identified for your organisation. There are no wrong answers. This is not a test, but a tool. For example, If you do not have national staff, you can read international staff instead.
